Sony Xperia Ion launched in China with Android 4.0 ICS, brings Xperia Acro S and Xperia Go along

Sony has announced the launch of three new Xperia smartphones in China: the Xperia Ion (HSPA version – LT28h), Xperia Acros S, and Xperia Go.
Unlike in the US, where AT&T will start selling the Xperia Ion on June 24, with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board, the handset is running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich from day one in China. Of course, AT&T’s Ion will be updated to ICS at some point, but we don’t know exactly when.

Both the Xperia Acro S and Xperia Go are running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. They’re water and dust-proof, and should become available in China after the Xperia Ion (sometime in the third quarter of the year).
